General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
As you will all probably be aware by now, new data protection legislation will come into effect in the UK on 25 May. If you haven’t already done so, you are required to complete the council’s new mandatory ‘data protection essentials’ training by this date. The training can be accessed by following the link below.
In addition to the training, you can find answers to FAQs and other support information that you may need on the intranet.
If you're unable to find the answer you're looking for in the resources available, the information governance team are more than happy to help. Just email email@example.com with queries you may have.

Shirehall staff survey
Please get involved in the Shirehall staff survey on the intranet. Its purpose is to better understand how you use Shirehall, how you'd like to see Shirehall better support your needs, and what facilities you'd like to see in a refurbished Shirehall.
All responses will be treated in strict confidence. A further survey capturing your current travel arrangements will be made available shortly, and is part of our long-term engagement strategy as the Shirehall refurbishment project takes shape.
