Building Control award
Shropshire Council’s Building Control team was delighted to be 'highly commended' for the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Warranty’s Bricks Award, which was accepted by Clive Gwilt from Building Control’s Business Support team.
Shropshire Council Building Control was one of the three finalists out of 134 other councils for LABC Bricks Awards for the Bricks and Mortar Partnership category, for working in partnership with the LABC for new housing warranty: Shropshire Council submitted over 600 new builds to the LABC in 2016.
Celebrating the best in the house building industry, The Bricks awards recognise companies and individuals who stand out from the rest and go the extra mile, regardless of size, to deliver quality in construction and design. A big well done to all our staff that were involved.
Great British High Street awards

The Great British High Street supports those working to revive, adapt and diversify high streets. They recognised how passionate Bridgnorth residents are about their area, and how they had ‘galvanised’ the local community to vote.
