Proud to make a difference: Celebrating our apprentices successes
To celebrate an outstanding year of apprenticeships at Shropshire Council, we will shortly be inviting our apprentices, managers and colleagues to a special celebration event taking place on Tuesday 12 November from 1pm-3pm at Shirehall.
The event itself will be split into two parts in order to promote the learning opportunities available and celebrate success:
An Apprenticeship Marketplace – open to all staff from 1-2pm in the Foyer.
There will be an opportunity for staff to find out more about apprenticeships with our apprenticeship training providers who will be there to guide you through the range of courses available and answer any questions you have about apprenticeships.
Awards ceremony – attendees will need to book a place from 2pm-3pm in the Council Chamber, Shirehall.
We’ll hear more from our apprenticeship training providers, celebrate all the learners who have completed their apprenticeships in a graduation ceremony and we will crown our first Apprentice of the Year.
We hope to see you there. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01743 258521.

Museums are Magic
A magical, mystical adventure awaits this October half-term at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery (SM&AG) with the return of the hugely popular Museums Are Magic, which will include a series of magical events from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November 2019 as part of the Museums at Night celebration.
Families can drop in to make their very own magic wands and create a gooey, glittery, bug-filled potion in the spooky potions lab.
