This week we’ve distributed food parcels to 206 households across Shropshire. This is a fantastic effort by all involved and the system you’ve established for sourcing, managing and distributing is really taking shape., so thank you and well done.
Covid line will be open over the weekend
Our Covid helpline (0345 6789028) for non-medical support and enquires about Covid 19 or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) is to be resourced this weekend with colleagues supporting this between 09:00 and 13:00 each day. Thank you to those who have given up their time to do this, another fantastic response to supporting the people of Shropshire.
Good things to do at home
Our Community Partnership team have come up with a great idea to help relieve boredom and enhance your creativity and mental wellbeing during the current lockdown.
The team have come up with #goodthingstodoathome yammer group for staff to share their ideas about things that people can do at home or ways that people can be supported that’s a little different.
We think this is a really nice way of getting people to share some of the interesting things that they are doing at home to maintain their wellbeing. Go to Yammer and join (more info in next note).
New digital communities
We asked for some ideas of new groups to be created on Yammer and the response was brilliant, you can now find a whole host of digital communities to get involved in such as:
- Book club
- Good things to do at home (as mentioned above)
- IT tips and tricks
If you’d like to be involved, get onto Yammer (through office.com or linked on the Intranet) and join the groups on the left-hand side. If you’d like another group setting up, email email@example.com or message on Yammer.
