The Daily Return
Please make sure that your manager or the manager representing your area completes the daily return – this is crucial in our efforts to manage staffing levels. The daily return populates a series of dashboards that allow us to identify services who are short on staff, giving us the opportunity to request staff move from one service to another to keep services functioning. This must be completed by 12:00 each day.
To help you all adjust to the technology that has so quickly become a lifeline in our work, there is now a dedicated page on the Intranet with some advice and guidance. This will be added to regularly and the IT business partners are also offering support on the Directorate Teams sites, or you can contact your business partner direct.
At times like these the cascading of information is more important than ever. We want to reassure you that a strong and resilient governance structure has been established, with clear lines of reporting and sharing of information. At 16:00 on Friday the entire senior management team met virtually for an update, with questions and answers provided throughout. This is one of many structures allowing us to coordinate the response to Covid-19 and another example of where technology has enabled us to continue functioning.
The decision has been made that the recruitment to any role that has not been offered should be paused. This is unless the role is business critical, something that can be discussed with your HR Business Partner.
